God and the Transgender Debate Review!
Who should read this Book: People curious about what it means to be transgender. It is an excellent start for someone looking for truth on the subject concerning the Bible. What the Book says: People who experience gender dysphoria or consider themselves Transgender should be welcomed in the church. They should feel comfortable with their pastors, families, and parents enough to talk about what they experience. Secondly, their identity should be defined in who Christ is and what he has done for us. Where is my favorite quote: The church's response to those who identify as Transgender, and to those who struggle with gender dysphoria but who are not actively identifying as Transgender, must be—immediately and with integrity, "You are welcome here. You are loved here." Walker, Andrew T. God, and the Transgender Debate: What does the Bible actually say about gender identity? (p. 123). The Good Book Company. Kindle Edition....
